How much should you spend on senior pictures?
It’s hard to know (when shopping for a creative service you’re not familiar with) if you spend less, will you get less creativity, or less service? That’s where the tradeoff lies. Either you pay less for inexperience and only hope for good creativity, or pay less for service and have to do most of the work yourself. So, a better question to look for a balance. Ask: “What is the most important thing about your portrait?”
Is it the comfort and confidence you feel when trusting a proven professional to get your personality on portraits you’ll be showing off in 10 years, 25 years, 55 years? Or is it the price?
